young justice fic rec post for kristen. pretty kf and/or robin heavy because i love them ;_;

• and it makes you question your ethics - gen; the reason young justice are so deeply undercover is so that they can do things the league can’t. they’re the jla’s wetworks operatives. short and haunting.
• draw a straight line - robin/kf; robin goes missing and eventually everyone gives up on him, but kf never stops looking (prepare your tear ducts).
• i’ll catch up to you - nightwing/kf with nightwing/flash iii implied; this is a wip but it’s okay because i’m actually only reccing part of it: chapter one to chapter sixteen. nightwing goes back in time and saves slightly-older-than-show-canon young justice from an explosion, but things don’t go exactly to plan. the scene where he goes back through the time portal thing is HEARTBREAKING okay i was in actual tears. after chapter 16 it gets really confusing, it’s still good, but the first part is definitely the best.
• brave new world - gen; damian ends up in the world of the young justice cartoon. 22000 beautiful, perfect words with lovely characterisation and a very enjoyable plot. warning: this fic will give you damian feels.
• holy shit what the fuck - gen; you know the hilarious video of some guy playing amnesia? well, that, but with wally. this had me in absolute stitches dfghbfd but make sure you’ve seen the video first!
• monarchy of songbirds - bruce/dick; this is every bit as filthy and obscene as you’re imagining. and it is fantastic. there’s some beautiful fanart in the comments too.
• twist your hair - roy/wally and dick/wally; okay hear me out. i don’t ship roy/wally, but i love this fic for wally’s characterisation. at the start, he’s in love with dick, who is growing up and changing and doesn’t love wally. and roy’s totally in love with wally, but he’s too obsessed with dick to realise. it’s lovely seeing wally develop as a character and eventually outgrow his feelings for dick (obviously it’s not that easy though!)
• it’s been a bad day, please don’t take a picture - gen; i saved my favourite for last. short and angsty and very beautiful. kf is ftm transgender, m’gann is lovely, and i have mount justice in my eye.
